The Narendra Modi government has presented its most important budget in the history, this year the Budget will come against the backdrop of COVID-19, which adversely affected previous year’s budgetary exercise. A strong rebound in growth is expected on a low/negative base year. For the full year 2020-21, GDP is likely to witness the first contraction in four decades.
