ISCC participated in the Virtual Roundtable with EBTC on ‘Financing as a Catalyst for the Internationalisation of SMEs’. The agenda for the same was to discuss about the present time of increased business uncertainty due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, and how the need for increased collaboration in key areas of mutual relevance for businesses in Europe and India has taken on a renewed sense of urgency. This is particularly true for SMEs, which are more sensitive to external shocks, such as access to financing opportunities and which form the backbones of both the European and Indian economies.This roundtable shed light on appropriate financing models and strategies to enable the internationalisation of SMEs. The session helped to identify the regulatory financing framework than can foster green, environmentally-friendly and socio-economically sustainable business projects in India.
